Root canal treatment

Every tooth has one or more canals in which a nerve runs. Inflammation or death of this nerve can make root canal treatment necessary. The inflamed or dead nerve tissue is removed and the canals are disinfected and filled. This treatment can be carried out completely painlessly with a local anesthetic.
